1.Process Engineering Leadership

  • Lead process engineering team in India for casting, surfacing, milling, polishing, hard coating, AR coating.

2. Leading FPY, OEE and Manufacturing Performance Improvement.

  • Build and govern a structured improvement pipeline linked to factory KPIs, including FPY, OEE, productivity, cost reduction, uptime and defect reduction.
  • Use data-driven problem solving, SPC, capability analysis, root-cause analysis, DOE, Lean, Six Sigma and TPM methods to solve chronic production issues.
  • Prioritize engineering resources based on business impact, customer risk, technical urgency and sustainability of countermeasures.
  • Drive standardization and replication of proven improvements across lines, technologies and factories where applicable.

3. Quality, Customer Complaint and Compliance Support

  • Partner with Quality to investigate customer complaints, internal nonconformities and high-impact quality events.
  • Lead technical root-cause analysis and ensure corrective and preventive actions are robust, verified and sustained.
  •  Ensure engineering solutions comply with quality systems, EHS requirements, regulatory expectations and internal manufacturing standards.
  • Promote prevention-oriented engineering practices rather than reactive issue handling.

4. New Product, Equipment and Technology Industrialization

  • Support qualification, execute validation, and ramp-up and handover plans for new processes, equipment and automation projects.
  • Ensure lessons learned, process risks, maintenance requirements, training needs and production controls are captured before serial release.
  • Act as the factory engineering interface to Global Development and other global support functions to accelerate robust industrialization.

5. Automation, Digital Manufacturing

  • Drive automation, Industry 4.0, MES, IoT, data analytics and predictive-maintenance initiatives with clear business cases and execution discipline.
  • Translate technology opportunities into practical factory applications that improve quality, stability, cost, productivity and transparency.

6. Team Leadership and Organizational Capability

  • Lead a high-performing engineering team with clear ownership, measurable targets, disciplined project execution and strong shopfloor engagement.
  • Coach engineers in structured problem solving, stakeholder communication, project management and manufacturing-oriented thinking.
  • Develop technical experts and future leaders through capability matrices, individual development plans and knowledge-sharing routines.
  • Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, speed, standardization and continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Chemical or Polymer Engineering. Master's/MBA desirable.

Experience :

10–15 years in manufacturing, including at least 6 years leading engineering/process teams. Strong experience in Automotive, Chemical Or electronic industries, with experience in  automation and Lean manufacturing.

Technical Competencies :

Automation projects, Lean tools, Cost reduction projects,   Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, SPC, project management.

Leadership Competencies :

Strategic thinking, coaching, change management, problem solving, innovation, stakeholder management. Team player & Fast learner.

KPIs :

FPY, OEE, Cp/Cpk, productivity, cost reduction, uptime, defect reduction, automation project delivery, safety and capability development.
