Cloudinary · Hybrid · Israel

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Head of MIS to lead and scale the systems backbone of our SaaS business. You will own the strategy, delivery, and operations across three functions: IT, Information Systems engineering, and AI Enablement. You will lead managers and specialists, set the technology roadmap for our internal systems and business applications, and drive automation and AI adoption across the company. This is a senior, high-ownership leadership role for someone who can operate at both the strategic and hands-on level - balancing reliability and security with the speed and experimentation a growing SaaS company needs.

TEAMS YOU'LL LEAD

  • IT - led by an IT Manager, responsible for global IT operations, endpoint and device management, onboarding/offboarding, core SaaS platforms, and vendor management.

  • Information Systems Engineering - a team of systems engineers owning business applications, integrations, data flows, and the internal systems that run Sales, Finance, HR, and other functions.

  • AI Enablement - a team driving adoption of AI tools and building internal automations and copilots that make every department more productive.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own the MIS strategy & roadmap - define and execute the vision for IT, information systems, and AI enablement, aligned to company growth and business priorities.

  • Lead and grow the organization - manage the IT Manager, Information Systems engineers, and the AI Enablement team; hire, mentor, set goals, and build a high-performing, service-oriented culture.

  • Own business systems & applications - govern the architecture, integration, and lifecycle of core business systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, HRIS, Finance) and the data flows between them.

  • Drive AI & automation adoption - identify high-impact opportunities to apply AI and automation across the company, and lead the AI Enablement team in delivering tools, copilots, and workflows that raise productivity.

  • Ensure reliable, secure IT operations - oversee global IT delivery, endpoint and identity management, and employee support through the IT function, partnering closely with Security.

  • Governance, security & compliance - establish policies, access controls, and controls for systems and data; support audit and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR).

  • Budget & vendor management - own the MIS budget, technology spend, and strategic vendor, consultant, and outsourcing relationships across all three functions.

  • Data & reporting - ensure the business has trustworthy systems data and reporting to support decision-making across departments.

  • Cross-functional partnership - act as the systems partner to Sales, Finance, HR, R&D, and other leaders; translate business needs into scalable systems solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Proven leadership experience in MIS / IT / business systems within SaaS or technology companies, including managing managers and multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Experience leading IT operations, information systems engineering, and business applications at scale in a distributed environment.

  • Demonstrated experience driving AI and automation adoption, with a track record of delivering measurable productivity or efficiency gains.

  • Strong understanding of core business systems (CRM, ERP, HRIS, Finance) and their integration and data architecture.

  • Solid grounding in IT security, governance, and compliance (IAM, endpoint/MDM, SOC 2, GDPR).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with experience partnering with executives and supporting remote / multi-site teams.

  • Strategic and hands-on: able to set direction and roadmaps while staying close enough to systems and delivery to make sound technical decisions.

  • Budget ownership experience and a track record of managing vendors, consultants, and outsourced partners.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience scaling MIS/IT in a high-growth, globally distributed SaaS company.

  • Hands-on familiarity with AI/LLM tooling, automation platforms, and internal copilot development.

  • Experience owning systems through compliance audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001).

  • Relevant degree or certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, cloud or security certifications).
