About the Opportunity

TriEdge is looking for an exceptional senior leader to establish and lead a new Mental Health Innovation Unit within a leading Israeli Health Maintenance Organization (HMO).
This is a unique opportunity to build an innovation unit from the ground up, bringing together technology, research, product development, and healthcare innovation to drive meaningful impact at scale.
We are seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial, and hands-on leader with a proven track record of building organizations, leading multidisciplinary teams, and turning complex technological initiatives into real-world outcomes.
This is not a traditional innovation management role. We are looking for someone who has built, led, and scaled complex teams or business units and is ready to do it again.

Key Responsibilities

• Build & Lead: Establish the innovation unit from scratch, defining its strategy, organizational structure, priorities, and operating model.

• Technology & Product Innovation: Identify and drive technology-driven initiatives, bridging research, product development, and implementation.

• Organizational Leadership: Build and lead multidisciplinary teams, establish effective processes, and create a strong execution culture.

• Stakeholder Management: Navigate complex organizational environments, manage competing priorities, and align senior stakeholders across the HMO, TriEdge, and external partners.

• Strategic Execution: Translate ambitious objectives into actionable programs, measurable outcomes, and scalable solutions.

• Hands-On Leadership: Play an active role in the initial establishment phase, transitioning progressively into long-term leadership of the unit.

What We're Looking For

• Significant senior leadership experience in technology, R&D, research, product development, or innovation.

• Proven experience building and scaling teams, departments, or business units from the ground up.

• Strong technological understanding, with experience translating research or product innovation into practical solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and complex cross-functional initiatives.

• Exceptional organizational intelligence: Ability to navigate organizational politics, adapt to different leadership styles, and align stakeholders with competing priorities.

• Strong strategic judgment: Confidence to challenge assumptions, ask difficult questions, and constructively influence strategic decisions.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding execution capabilities and a hands-on approach.

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structures and processes where none exist.

• Native-level Hebrew and fluent professional English.

Strong Advantages

• Leadership experience combining research and product development.

• Previous experience as a VP, Head of R&D, Head of Research, Product or Technology Executive, or Business Unit Leader.

• Experience implementing technological solutions within large, complex organizations.

• Background in healthcare, digital health, or healthcare technology.

Healthcare experience is an advantage, not a requirement. We welcome exceptional technology and research leaders from other industries.
