At APM Terminals Aarhus, you will join the terminal’s senior management environment and help connect financial performance with operational and strategic decision-making. This is an office-based role located at the terminal in Aarhus.

• Influence strategic and operational decisions through business intelligence, analytics, and data-based insights.
• Lead functional initiatives, including process improvements and system changes, and help turn them into sustainable results.
• Develop leadership capabilities while leading finance professionals and contributing to the terminal management team.
• Build broad experience across finance, procurement, legal compliance, risk, governance, and terminal operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the terminal finance function across accounting, control and risk, planning, performance management, and corporate governance.
• Act as a strategic business partner to the Terminal Managing Director and contribute actively to the senior management team.
• Drive financial planning and analysis, investment analysis, performance management, and data-based decision support.
• Ensure financial information is accurate, reliable, timely, and compliant with legal and internal control requirements.
• Maintain a robust, risk-based control framework covering enterprise risk management, fraud prevention, tax, treasury, claims, and insurance.
• Lead finance capabilities and process improvements, including functional initiatives, system changes, and business intelligence.
• Oversee the daily execution of procurement and legal matters while leading, coaching, and developing the finance team.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of budgeting, reporting, accounting, and investment analysis, with the ability to translate financial information into practical business insight.
• Combine a strategic perspective with a hands-on approach and a genuine interest in terminal operations and the business behind the numbers.
• Communicate, influence, negotiate, and make sound decisions across all levels of a changing, matrixed organisation.
