We are looking for a Head of Accounting preferably with a background in the manufacturing industry, able to lead a talented team of accounting professionals, a detail-oriented individual with the passion for making things happen. What You ‘ll Be Doing:

• Lead a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support and mentoring.
• Oversee all accounting operations and ensure the implementation of accounting standards.
• Supervise preparation of quarterly and year-end reports, financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory filings, ensuring compliance in accordance with accounting standards and regulations (Greek GAAP and IAS).
• Remain up to date on all new tax laws, regulations, and court rulings.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize financial procedures and support business goals.
• Implement and manage myDATA standards as required for compliance.
• Monitor expenditures, revenues, and budget variances.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation regarding all policies, processes and procedures for the departments relevant functions.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in similar role with managerial experience.
• Deep Knowledge of tax laws, financial regulations, customs regulations, and industry standards.
• Knowledgeable in the myData platform
• Full professional working proficiency in English.

Desired:

• Experience working with SAP (Finance/Manufacturing) modules or similar solutions.

• Background in the manufacturing industry with experience in accurately tracking, analyzing, and reporting in all financial aspects of the manufacturing process.
• Ability to travel for short periods in Greece or abroad.
