About The Role
The Head Gardener is responsible for the efficient operation of the Maintenance/Grounds department. This includes maintaining all resort rooms and amenities, at all times complying with OH&S Policies & Procedures. Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Oversee daily gardening and grounds maintenance activities
- Maintaining all resort equipment in working condition
- Fostering positive relationships with guests and colleagues
- Reporting of unsafe practices, incidents or accidents
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance, with supervisory experience is desirable
- Ability to perform basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and appliance repairs
- Ability to use and care for tools and equipment
- Desire to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and respond to emergency situations
