Accenture Israel red team is hiring a Hardware Security specialist for our hardware-security practice.

You'll work in a team of researchers through hands-on lab work: dismantling boards, attaching to UART/JTAG/SPI lines, extracting firmware, and building PoC attacks that help global device makers close critical vulnerabilities. You'll set research direction, scope and prioritize engagements, review findings before they ship in client reports, and mentor researchers as they grow.

You'll stay hands-on with the hardest targets and have flexible remote time for tooling, documentation, and planning.

Responsibilities

-Define research roadmap, engagement scoping, and lab capabilities (equipment, tooling, budget).

-Oversee and personally tackle advanced engagements: teardown, fault injection, side-channel, firmware extraction, and secure-boot attacks.

-Review PoCs and reports for technical accuracy, CVSS scoring, and clear remediation guidance.

-Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, including scoping, readouts, and responsible-disclosure coordination.

-Drive automation and process improvements in Python/C tooling and CI/CD pipelines.

Skills (Required)

-Hardware Analysis & Teardown: Expert at PCB analysis, mixed-signal schematics, and probing with multimeter, oscilloscope, and logic analyzer.

-Offensive Security Mindset: Strong threat modeling and ability to anticipate how benign features can be abused.

-Programming: Proficient in Python, C, and C++.

-Linux CLI Proficiency: Fluent in Linux environments and toolchains.

 

-Firmware Extraction & Reverse Engineering: Dump NOR/eMMC, unpack images (binwalk/FMK), and analyze with Ghidra or radare2 to find auth bypasses and hard-coded secrets.

-Fault Injection & Side-Channel: Voltage/clock glitching and power analysis (ChipWhisperer, PicoEMP).

-Reporting: Produce concise, client-ready findings with CVSS scoring, annotated photos, and remediation guidance.

  

 Soft Skills

-Strategic Thinking: Prioritize research and engagements for impact and business value.

-Clear Communication: Explain complex findings to engineers and executives alike.

-Ethics & Professionalism: Experience with NDAs, Rules of Engagement, and responsible-disclosure timelines.

-Adaptability: Balance leadership duties, lab work, and remote collaboration.

 

Nice to Have

-Electrical engineering background (circuit design, power management, signal integrity).

-Rework and soldering (hot-air/BGA, fine-pitch).

-FPGA/CPLD experience (Verilog/VHDL, OpenOCD-SVF).

-RF and wireless attacks (BLE/Wi-Fi, SDR such as HackRF/USRP).

-Secure-boot and crypto analysis (TRNG testing, fuse/OTP, weak trust chains).

-CI/CD and DevOps for analysis pipelines and containerized toolchains.

-Bug-bounty or CTF track record, conference talks, or published CVEs.
