About the role 

As Guest Relations Officer at Domes Miramare, a Luxury Collection Resort, you will create a welcoming atmosphere and make sure every guest's stay is enjoyable and memorable. You will be the link between our guests and the hotel team, answering questions, resolving concerns and promoting our services and experiences. 

What you will do 

Promoting hotel services 

• Promote hotel amenities, services and packages to enhance the guest experience. 

• Organise and host guest engagement activities and events. 

• Upsell room upgrades and additional services to grow revenue. 

• Promote hotel facilities such as restaurants, bars and the spa. 

Resolving guest concerns 

• Resolve guest concerns quickly and efficiently to keep satisfaction high. 

• Follow up with guests to make sure their concerns have been fully resolved. 

Communication 

• Work with other departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance and food and beverage, for seamless service. 

• Keep guests informed about hotel services, special offers and events. 

• Give personalised assistance and respond promptly to guest questions and requests. 

Record keeping 

• Keep accurate records of guest interactions, feedback and special requests in the hotel system. 

• Prepare reports on guest satisfaction and service trends for management. 

Concierge services 

• Help guests with reservations and recommendations for local attractions, dining and transport. 

• Coordinate special requests, such as room preferences, celebrations or specific amenities. 

Requirements

What you will bring 

• Good spoken and written English. 

• Good knowledge of Opera or a similar property management system and other hotel software. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and colleagues. 

• The ability to work in a fast paced environment and stay professional under pressure. 

• The ability to resolve guest concerns effectively and promptly. 

• The ability to adapt quickly to changing guest expectations and operational challenges. 

• The ability to manage several guest requests at once while keeping quality high. 

• Previous experience in front office or guest services, ideally in luxury hospitality, is desirable. 

• A degree or diploma in hospitality is desirable. 

• A second foreign language is desirable.
