About the Role

Customer Centricity - This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes, via ensuring proper governance and control on channels, that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly via proper governance structure.

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Design and manage the execution of business quality framework for different distribution channels and models
  • To support manager in designing and lead the implementation of effective controls in the identified risk areas of partnership distribution channels including but not limited to the following:
    • Selection and appointment of intermediaries
    • On-going appraisal of intermediaries
    • Sales & marketing and communication controls
    • Compensation controls
    • Sales process and business quality management
    • Customer complaint and conduct management
  • Work with business partners and other internal stakeholders to implement effective controls in the identified risk areas
  • Preparing and performing regular risk and control assessment for the department, and drive actions to address areas with increased risks
  • Investigate and report compliance incidents to Direct Manager/ Department
  • Co-ordinate and provide assistance for review of the department by Compliance, Internal Audit and regulators
  • Provide all necessary supports with a view to enhance the awareness and knowledge of risk management and governance & control for the department staff
  • Engage in governance related initiatives to sustain long term business quality
  • Support manager on ad hoc projects and assignments

Job Requirements:


  • University/College graduate with 8 years’ relevant working experiences in the financial services industry
  • Driven, proactive and highly independent·      
  • Strong ownership and accountability of results
  • Strong presentation, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and spoken English and Cantonese
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Be a team player
  • Customer Centricity as a core requirement, ensuring the role holder demonstrates a strong commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs. 

Others:

  • You are preferred to obtain the license of Insurance Authority (IA) (Paper 1,2,3 and 5) or any licenses if your job involves regulated activities
