About this Go-To-Market Data Analyst role at Knak
Knak is a mission-driven company
Why? Because our time is limited, our competition is fierce, and our margin for error is small. For us to have the greatest impact on the world, we need to be laser focused on our core mission, which is...
Empowering people to be creative.
That’s why Knak exists.
We are a world-class enterprise email and landing page creation platform with a focus on making successful and happy customers by providing them with an incredibly powerful, yet easy to use creation platform.
Our industry leading SaaS solution is built by Marketers, for Marketers. We know that it’s the small things that make the biggest impact and that emails and landing pages are where the rubber hits the road when it comes to Marketing Automation. We change the way Marketers work by making them more efficient, while improving conversion rate of their campaigns and helping them stay on brand.
Oh, and we have a bit of fun while doing it, too!
About the Role
Knak is hiring a Go-To-Market Analyst to support decision-making across go-to-market functions: marketing, revenue operations, sales, and finance. This is not a narrow campaign-reporting role. The person in this seat will be trusted with questions that span the full funnel, from lead generation and performance marketing through pipeline and revenue outcomes.
We are looking for someone who understands the marketing domain (lead generation, campaign performance, attribution, funnel metrics) as well as someone who can operate as a business analyst across departments. Candidates should be comfortable moving between "why did this campaign underperform" and "how does this connect to sales pipeline and finance targets."
What You'll Do
- Analyze marketing performance across channels and campaigns, including lead generation and performance marketing metrics
- Build and maintain reporting that connects marketing activity to sales pipeline, revenue, and finance outcomes
- Partner with Revenue Operations and Sales to understand funnel conversion, attribution, and forecasting questions
- Support Finance with GTM-related budget and spend analysis
- Translate ad hoc questions from stakeholders across departments into clear, well-scoped analysis
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies in GTM data and help improve data quality and definitions over time
- Present findings in a way that is useful to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Work with AI team on building out data agents that serve marketing purposes
- Work with Data Engineering on structuring data architecture and source tables for marketing purposes
- Work with Finance on annual planning and setting targets
What You'll Bring
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an analyst role, ideally with exposure to marketing, sales, or revenue operations data
- Working knowledge of marketing concepts: lead generation, performance marketing, campaign attribution, funnel and conversion metrics
- Strong SQL skills and comfort working directly with data rather than only pre-built dashboards
- Working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce preferred) schema and objects
- Familiarity with paid ad platform data such as Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads
- Experience with Tableau or an equivalent BI tool (Looker, Power BI, or similar)
- Ability to work across departments and communicate with stakeholders who have different priorities and levels of technical fluency
- Comfort with ambiguity. Not every question will come pre-defined
Nice to Have
- Experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse
- Familiarity with marketing automation or CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar)
- Prior experience in a B2B SaaS environment
What Success Looks Like
Within the first few months, this person should be a trusted point of contact for GTM analytics questions, someone Sales, Marketing, and Finance all know to go to for clear, reliable answers, not just a dashboard builder.
Base Salary: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000 - 150,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include other forms of compensation that may be available as part of the total rewards package.
