Your role and responsibilities


We are looking for a senior leader to join ABB Robotics’ Lifecycle Service platform as Global Manager – Service Processes & Tools. In this role, you will lead a global team of Process Owners and Process Experts to harmonize, standardize, and continuously improve service and lifecycle management processes aligned with the company strategy. As part of the Lifecycle Service Platform Management Team, you will play a key role in shaping the future operating models ensuring scalable, efficient, and customer-centric service processes across the organization.


At ABB Robotics Lifecycle Service Platform, you will have the opportunity to drive global impact by shaping how we deliver the whole end-to-end service excellence. You will work with diverse teams across the world, influence key decisions, and contribute to a future-ready, customer-focused service organization.


This role is open to candidates across Europe. Near an ABB Robotics location is preferred, although our primary focus is on finding the right person with the mindset, experience, and motivation to thrive in this position.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Global Process Owner for Service processes, owning end-to-end target-state process design and ensuring proper metrics are in place
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of 6 Service Business Process Owners and Process experts
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of global service processes and supporting applications in close collaboration with IS and key stakeholders
  • Overseeing and ensuring alignment between service processes, value streams, and digital tools
  • Translate business strategy, customer needs, and market dynamics into scalable processes
  • Ensure a strong customer-centric approach, prioritizing initiatives based on business value and customer experience
  • Ensure service processes and data structures provide the foundation for digital services, automation, and future AI-enabled business capabilities.
  • Support and guide global deployment, adoption, and change management for process and system improvements
  • Ensure Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements are embedded in all processes and tools

Your Profile


  • M.Sc. or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business administration or similar. Minimum leadership experience 5-10 years, minimum total work experience 15-20 years.
  • Proven leadership of global teams in complex matrix organizations, with strong stakeholder management at senior level.
  • Proven experience in Service Business, with strong understanding of service and lifecycle management including but not limited to field service, parts fulfillment, installed base and data driven services.
  • Experience in global transformation programs, a plus with ERP/CRM/Field Service management platforms experience.
  • Knowledge of process taxonomy, design, and data flows.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, execution-driven approach.
