Role Summary:
As Global Head of Field Services, you will take ownership of Blue Wireless' Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) function across every market we operate in. You are the driving force behind embedding strong HSEQ standards into how our internal field teams and third-party installers work day-to-day, ensuring that safety and compliance is built into the core of our field operations.
This newly created, standalone role serves as the central point of ownership for HSEQ across our global teams, translating regulatory requirements and best practice into standards, training, and processes that teams can apply. You are responsible for identifying risk, investigating incidents, closing compliance gaps, and building a culture where safety and quality are shared responsibilities across every level in the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Service Processes
- Identify gaps in current field practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and implement the organization’s safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments
- Act as the internal expert and point of escalation for safety and field operations matters
Contractor Management
- Work closely with Procurement teams to source and contract third-party installers
- Manage and audit third-party installer relationships, including onboarding, performance reviews, and contract compliance related to safety and quality
- Provide training and procedures to third-party installers to ensure Blue Wireless compliance
Safety and Quality
- Ensure local compliance with legislation, regulatory obligations and industry best practice
- Development and implementation of effective systems to identify hazards, risks and issues
- Lead incident investigations, hazard identification, risk assessments and corrective actions
Documentation & Audit Readiness
- Maintain a centralized, audit-ready library of all HSEQ policies, Quality Assurance (QA) checklists, SOPs
- Maintain and manage HSEQ registers (e.g. incidents, hazards, SWMS)
- Lead compliance and certification initiatives such as ISO 45001 or other standards to implement industry best practices
Requirements:
- Experienced in Field Services or Safety operations
- Strong experience with quality and safety processes
- Able to work across multiple functional teams, supporting and guiding them
- Minimal 10 years of experience in business environment
- Understanding of global IT services and enterprise customer requirements
- Understanding of networking technologies (IP networking, 5G, LEO satellite connectivity, enterprise WAN) is an advantage
- Experience working with technology vendors, professional service companies, and regulatory environments across multiple regions
- Advanced degree (MSc or equivalent) desirable
