We are looking for hardworking General Operatives to join our team in Athleague. As a General Operative at Kepak, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily operations to keep up with customer demand for our top-quality products. You will be a vital part of our team on the factory floor, working alongside other skilled operatives to achieve our goals. You may be assigned to any of our production departments as the company sees fit.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets
• Operate and maintain production equipment to ensure efficiency and safety
• Complete quality control checks to ensure high standards of product quality
• Adhere to hygiene and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately
• Attend training sessions to develop skills and knowledge
• Follow instructions from supervisors and management to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role in the food production industry advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to engage in repetitive tasks for long periods of time
• Basic computer literacy an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report issues
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends.
