About the role:

We are seeking an experienced commercial attorney to join our legal team.

Reporting directly to our General Counsel, you will lead the commercial legal function in the Americas and serve as the primary legal partner to our fast-growing Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams. This is a hybrid role based in New York City. We are also open to remote candidates in the US.

What you’ll achieve:

• Own commercial deals end to end. Draft and negotiate enterprise customer agreements (SaaS, services, licensing, DPAs), channel partner agreements (resellers, referral partners, marketplace), strategic partnerships, and vendor contracts.
• Improve deal velocity. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to close deals on time with clear, practical guidance.
• Build for scale. Create and maintain templates, playbooks, processes, and contract operations that support growth and align with policies and corporate strategy.
• Support marketing and protect the brand. Review and advise on campaigns, claims, content, and initiatives. Counsel on related technologies and best practices.

Manage disputes and risk. Handle disputes from potential claims through resolution, provide strategic counseling, and use lessons learned to mitigate risk.

• Stay ahead of the curve. Track legal and regulatory developments in commercial law, cybersecurity, and AI and partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve novel issues.

What you’ll bring:

• JD and active admission to a US state bar.
• 5 - 10+ years of experience practicing law at a law firm, in-house, or both, ideally in the technology space.

Compensation: Pay range: $205,000 - $270,000.  Final offer depends on location, experience, and skills.
