Games Merchandising Manager
San Mateo, CA (hybrid)
Role overview:
The Merchandising team combines commercial planning, AI-driven optimization and customer insights to deliver personalized, high-performing Storefront experiences. We partner closely with Planning & Finance to turn revenue forecasts into merchandising strategies, then continuously adapt those strategies based on AI-generated recommendations, player behavior and live business performance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner closely with Planning & Finance to understand commercial forecasts, revenue targets and business priorities, translating these into merchandising strategies and engaging Store experiences across console, web and mobile.
- Continuously monitor business performance, customer behavior and AI-generated optimization signals to make daily merchandising decisions, adjusting campaigns, placements and content strategies to maximize customer engagement and commercial performance.
- Leverage AI-powered insights and predictive signals alongside merchandising expertise to identify opportunities, prioritize actions and dynamically optimize Store experiences in response to changing customer behavior and business performance.
- Design and execute data-driven experiments, using AI insights alongside traditional analysis to validate hypotheses, improve customer experiences and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Reviewing performance data on a daily, weekly and monthly cadence and using it inform decisions, turning it into action to effectively optimize and trade the Store.
- Developing and adhering to best practices and processes with wider Store teams, identifying and implementing efficiencies, striving for continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in a global direct-to-consumer digital or e-commerce business, with knowledge of games monetization and live services.
- Experience using data, analytics and AI-generated insights to inform commercial decisions, optimize customer experiences and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Comfortable partnering with Planning & Finance to translate commercial forecasts into merchandising strategies and adapt those strategies based on changing performance and AI-driven recommendations.
- Customer first mindset, prioritizing customer needs, experience and personalization.
- Process-driven with good attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem resolution.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to combine financial objectives, customer insights and AI-powered recommendations into clear merchandising actions.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different global functions and teams.
- The role requires close collaboration with Planning & Finance, Product, Data Science and global commercial stakeholders to translate financial forecasts into merchandising strategies and continuously optimise Store performance using experimentation, analytics and AI-powered insights.
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent preferred
- A passion for the games industry and gaming is desired.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
