Role summary

Builds and supports responsive user experiences for Agora capabilities. The role works with product, back-end, quality, and architecture partners to deliver maintainable interfaces, integrate APIs, troubleshoot defects, and contribute to reliable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain responsive web interfaces and reusable front-end components.
• Integrate user interfaces with REST APIs, services, authentication, and enterprise systems.
• Translate product requirements and acceptance criteria into usable, maintainable user experiences.
• Investigate and resolve UI defects, integration failures, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Contribute to automated UI, integration, regression, and validation testing.
• Participate in code reviews, backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and release activities.
• Apply secure, observable, supportable, and maintainable engineering practices.

Core capabilities

• Experience with modern web application and responsive user-interface development.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills or comparable front-end technologies.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs and understanding authentication and application security concepts.
• Familiarity with source control, pull requests, CI/CD, testing, and release management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in enterprise application environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in front-end, web, or application development. Equivalent practical experience demonstrated through delivered applications or a strong technical portfolio is also acceptable.
• College degree, diploma, or equivalent post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Development, Software Engineering, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on capability with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and modern component-based web development, plus experience consuming REST APIs, handling authentication, building responsive interfaces, troubleshooting browser/UI issues, and contributing to automated testing.
• Front-end, cloud, accessibility, Agile, or related technical certifications are beneficial but not required.
