As a Frontend Engineer you will develop UI systems, not just components, by creating reusable hooks, patterns, and abstractions that support complete flows and subsystems. Make thoughtful architectural trade-offs by defining clear state boundaries, separating server and UI state, collaborating on API contracts, and determining when to build, reuse, or refactor. Own delivery end to end—from design feasibility and implementation through testing, rollout, telemetry, and post-launch improvements. Engineer accessible, testable, observable, secure, reliable, and performant experiences, while diagnosing issues methodically. Collaborate proactively across Product, Design, Backend, Platform, and UI teams, manage dependencies and trade-offs, mentor engineers, improve standards and processes, and create reusable mechanisms that raise team effectiveness. Operate what you build by supporting production, investigating incidents, strengthening monitoring and runbooks, and continuously improving operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and implement high-quality user interfaces and interaction patterns that align with product requirements, design systems, accessibility standards, and performance goals across multiple surfaces and devices.
  • Implement robust client-side application architecture, including component composition, state management, routing, and API integration patterns that are scalable and maintainable across multiple product surfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to refine requirements, validate technical feasibility, identify tradeoffs, and deliver incremental, testable UX improvements backed by data and experimentation.
  • Apply strong front-end engineering practices including automated testing, code reviews, performance optimization, security-conscious coding, and observability for web applications at scale.
  • Contribute to and consume shared UI component libraries, design systems, and tooling to enable reuse and consistency across teams and projects, ensuring solutions can be adapted for multiple domains.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real-world products, and safely integrate and operate AI/ML‑enabled solutions that improve user experience, personalization, and content relevance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Professional experience developing production-grade web applications using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, including integration with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
  • Proven experience owning user-facing features end-to-end within a web application, including low-level UI design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Demonstrated skills in front-end system design, including component-level low-level design (LLD), API consumption patterns, and data modeling for view-layer state and client-side data management, within modern engineering ecosystems and tooling (such as package managers, build systems, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing and evolving complex React architectures at scale, including patterns for state management, performance tuning, and modularization across multiple products or domains.
  • Background in building and extending shared UI component libraries or design systems, and driving adoption of best practices for accessibility, localization, and responsive design across teams.
  • Track record of using data and experimentation (A/B tests, analytics, user behavior insights) to inform UX decisions and iteratively improve customer-facing experiences.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-augmented developer or UX workflows (for example, code generation assistance, design optimization, or personalized UI experiences), with the ability to safely integrate and operate AI/ML‑enabled capabilities in web applications.
  • Experience collaborating with AI/ML and backend teams to design front-end APIs, interaction patterns, and data flows that surface AI-driven personalization, recommendations, or automation in a transparent, responsible, and performant way, including role-specific application of AI/ML concepts to enhance user experience.
