French-speaking Technical Support Analyst

Location: Budapest, Hungary

Work arrangement: Hybrid
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (40 hours per week)

We are looking for a French-speaking Technical Support Analyst to join our international customer support team in Budapest.

In this role, you will support customers of a leading brand in the consumer electronics and smart home technology industry, helping them get the most out of their devices and resolving technical issues.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide customer and technical support in French via phone, email, and chat.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity-related issues.
• Guide customers through technical solutions in a clear, patient, and professional manner.
• Handle product and service enquiries, customer complaints, and order-related questions.
• Take ownership of customer issues and follow them through to resolution.
• Investigate technical problems and escalate complex cases to the appropriate internal teams.
• Deliver accurate information while ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues and follow established support procedures and data protection guidelines.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• French language proficiency to confidently support French-speaking customers.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Previous experience in customer service, technical support, or a BPO environment.
• Strong interest in consumer electronics, technology, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi/WLAN, Bluetooth, and basic hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• A customer-focused mindset, patience, and empathy.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
