As a Forward Deployed Engineer - Automation - Manager you will lead client support work within our Managed Services practice, helping design and deliver automation solutions that streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve process performance. As a Manager you will motivate and develop teams, manage delivery workstreams, and use business insight, technology, and project management skills to guide complex work from planning through completion. This role calls for a practical approach to problem solving, clear communication with stakeholders, and the ability to identify opportunities that support service delivery and continuous improvement.

In this role at PwC, you will oversee delivery teams and manage automation initiatives across managed service operations, bringing together process knowledge, technology resources, and a focus on delivery risk, performance, and commercial outcomes. You will coach team members, review work with a focus on quality and timeliness, and handle issues as they arise with sound judgment and professional integrity. The position sits within the Data, Analytics & AI Managed Services area and offers the chance to contribute to service transition, run-state support, and ongoing optimization efforts in a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

- Leading automation-focused managed services workstreams across client engagements and delivery teams
- Driving project planning, budgeting, timeline management, and milestone tracking for assigned automation initiatives
- Applying automation framework design, workflow automation, and digital tooling to streamline business processes and service delivery
- Guiding the design and implementation of automation solutions that improve process performance and operational efficiency
- Reviewing delivery risks, dependencies, and performance metrics to support timely issue resolution and informed decisions
- Coaching team members on project delivery, process improvement methods, and practical use of automation technologies
- Translating client needs into scalable automation approaches that support managed service operations and business transformation
- Monitoring service performance, data quality automation, and delivery progress to track outcomes and identify improvement opportunities
- Using analytical thinking and process optimization skills to simplify complex workflows and enhance operating models

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 9 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

•    Extensive DevOps or platform engineering experience, including leading teams and owning delivery at scale.

•    Current depth in AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.

•    Proven enterprise integration experience with security, identity, and governance constraints.

•    Proven ownership of delivery outcomes and senior customer relationships.

•    A clear strategy for productionising AI at scale (LLMOps/MLOps), including responsible AI, backed by delivery experience.
