What You'll Do
Investigate and resolve Nostro account breaks, beneficiary claims, payment returns, non-receipts, and settlement discrepancies.
Create and approve SWIFT messages to repair, correct, and re-effect payment transactions.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate payment resolutions.
Analyze trends, identify root causes, and recommend solutions that improve operational performance.
Support initiatives that enhance controls, streamline processes, and elevate the client experience.
Manage inquiries and investigations through shared and personal team workflows.
Contribute to a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

🕒 Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Three or more years of relevant work experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Strong knowledge of international banking products, services, and operational processes.
Extensive experience with SWIFT payment messages, including MT103, MT202, MT199, MT299, and MT210.
Experience investigating cross-border or correspondent banking payment exceptions.
Strong understanding of SWIFT standards and global payment settlement practices.
Demonstrated success reducing operational losses and improving process efficiency.
Excellent analytical, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
Ability to assess complex situations, anticipate outcomes, and exercise sound judgment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business applications.
Bachelor's degree or business, technical, trade, or international banking certification preferred.
Location Expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $25.63 - $34.18U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
