About the location:
Nestled along a two-mile (3.2-kilometre) stretch of beach in Puerto Rico’s Bahia Beach community, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico is also surrounded by its own 483-acre (195-hectare) private nature reserve. The property is seamlessly integrated with its natural surroundings, allowing guests and residents to immerse themselves in the white sand beaches, verdant walking trails, and myriad outdoor activities – from golf, tennis, swimming and beyond.
About the role:
Serve guest needs by assisting the Food Server with delivery of food from kitchen and completing guest requests.
What you will do:
Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness. (30%)
Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner; greet guests according to Four Seasons Standards to ensure superior service. (15%)
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. (15%)
Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages. (10%)
Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations. (10%)
Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. (10%)
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. (10%)
What you will bring:
Average reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Spanish language.
Minimum one-year food and beverage service or equivalent.
Ability to carry and balance a tray.
Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
Basic food and beverage service knowledge and skills
