YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT 

Our Floating Commercial & Property Porter will be a part of our SOS Team. What is SOS you may ask? Well, you will soon find we do things a little different starting with our titles, some call them Floating Commercial & Property Porter, here we call them our SOS Commercial & Neighborhood Porter. Just like our titles SOS means something different too.  It stands for “Support Operations Specialists” and is the team responsible for floating management, leasing, and maintenance support across our whole residential portfolio.  As an SOS Commercial & Neighborhood Porter, you get the unique experience of working with teams of all sizes and Neighborhoods with unit counts as cozy as 100 to those as epic as 1,000!  Every day brings something a little different and challenges you to grow in new ways. The SOS Commercial & Neighborhood Porter is responsible for the cleanliness, physical appearance, and curb appeal of our residential and commercial neighborhoods. This adaptive role makes sure our Neighbors, and commercial residents feel at HOME, ridiculously well-cared for and genuinely proud to live in our Neighborhoods. Show them tomorrow matters.

HERE'S MORE OF THE NITTY-GRITTY 

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Experience - Some custodial or apartment experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Time Management & Upholding Standards - Must be able to perform each essential duty quickly and efficiently, without supervisor and must be able to function effectively in a customer service environment.
• Communication - Ability to communicate and understand the primary languages used in the workplace including, but not limited to, English in order to maintain safety in the workplace and serve internal and external customers. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Physical - While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel, to reach with arms, and to talk or hear. Requires standing, climbing, balancing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, and visual acuity. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Compensation

• Pay Range: $18.50 to $19.75 per hour
• Discretionary Semi-Annual Bonus Plan
