As our Fincrime Systems Analyst, you’ll play a key part in delivering our

vision by developing and enhancing automated detection controls that identify fraud, money laundering, bonus abuse, account takeover and other financial crime risks. Your work will directly contribute to improved fraud detection rates, reduced financial losses, lower false positive rates, enhanced regulatory compliance and improved operational efficiency. Through continuous monitoring, testing and optimization, you will ensure our financial crime controls evolve alongside emerging criminal behaviours and business needs.

What you’ll do

• Manage and maintain transaction monitoring and screening systems to ensure optimal performance and adherence to regulatory requirements.

• Design, configure, test and optimize financial crime detection rules and workflows to improve risk identification and operational efficiency.

• Work closely with Financial Crime Operations teams to understand risks and operational needs.

• Translate business, risk and compliance requirements into effective system controls.

• Analyse alerts, cases and performance metrics to improve detection outcomes.

• Reduce false positives while maintaining effective risk coverage.

• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency.

• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Engineering, Data Engineering and Data Science teams.

• Support the delivery of new controls, features and regulatory requirements.

• Define business requirements, test scenarios and acceptance criteria.

• Perform rule tuning and validate control effectiveness.

• Maintain rule documentation, process guides and knowledge articles.

• Support audits, investigations and governance activities when required.

• Monitor emerging fraud and financial crime trends.

• Recommend enhancements to strengthen the financial crime control framework.

• Use data and operational insights to drive continuous improvement.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.  

• 2 - 3 years' experience

• Technical Skills:

• Advanced SQL

• Microsoft Excel

• Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent data visualization tools

• Financial crime rules engines

• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• KPI reporting and requirements documentation

• Understanding of APIs

• Elastic or Coralogix  

• Jira and Confluence

• Fraud prevention and AML monitoring

• KYC processes and payment processing

• Risk scoring methodologies

• Behavioural analytics

• Financial crime typologies

• Regulatory knowledge relevant to iGaming and financial crime

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Familiarity with transaction monitoring and screening tools or other enterprise SaaS platforms

• Product background or experience

• Previous experience in online gaming or casino industry

• Knowledge of gambling regulations and compliance requirements
