As a Financial Crime Compliance Specialist, with a focus on tax related compliance, you will play a senior and proactive role within the FCC NL Advice & Control team. In line with the second line of Defence mandate, you contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of ING’s Financial Crime Compliance risk management frameworks across the full FCC scope. You actively contribute to transformation initiatives, change programs, and governance processes, safeguarding ING against financial crime risks through an integrated and future-proof compliance approach. You engage with a broad range of stakeholders across ING NL and Group, including senior management and regulators, and contribute to decision-making by providing balanced, well-founded compliance advice across FCC domains.

The Team

FCC NL Advice & Control is part of the Financial Crime Compliance domain within ING NL. The team oversees and monitors the translation of requirements from ING’s FCC policy framework into local guidance and processes, supporting Retail and Wholesale Banking. It collaborates closely with global and local 1st and 2nd line stakeholders for AML, TM, CDD, Sanctions, Screening, Tax, and ESR. The team also supports the group-wide Operational Effectiveness assessment process.
