To provide services and support to more senior FRA colleagues, typically learning through on the job experience, and undertaking allocated routine activity-specific duties under close supervision and in line with well-established procedures. To perform clerical and operative tasks administering basic procedures or operating simple machinery in order to support diverse financial / accounting activities.

This is a part-time Finance Trainee opportunity offered on a DPČ basis, with a workload of approximately 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with routine clerical and administrative tasks to support financial operations.
  • Perform simple, repetitive tasks within well-established procedures under supervision.
  • Support the preparation of basic financial analysis and internal/external reports.
  • Help compile data for project proposals, analytical reports, and presentations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain process accuracy.
  • Adhere to compliance standards and internal controls in all assigned tasks.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the R2R process.

What We Are Looking For

  • Student in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or someone currently on a longer-term career break/leave who is interested in supporting our Finance/R2R team on a long-term basis
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently under supervision and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • English language skills (written and spoken).
  • Positive attitude and commitment to delivering quality work.
