Join the UNIQLO Future Leaders Internship Programme and gain hands-on exposure to how finance supports retail store operations. As a Finance Operations Intern, you will work closely with the Finance team to support projects related to operational processes, compliance, data verification, process improvement, and business controls. Through real business assignments, you will learn how accurate processes and strong controls help ensure smooth store operations and a better customer experience.

What You Will Learn

Key Responsibilities

• Support the review and clarification of finance-related store operation processes, including customer payment and transaction-related workflows.

• Assist with data checking, verification, and analysis to support accurate reporting and compliance.

• Help document process steps, findings, and improvement points in a clear and structured manner.

• Coordinate with Finance, Store Operations, and Store Support Centre teams to gather information and follow up on project progress.

• Prepare simple summaries, status updates, and presentation materials to communicate findings and recommendations.

Potential Projects

• Support finance operations projects related to store payments, customer transactions, and operational controls.

• Participate in process review and documentation initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and communication across functions.

• Assist in data analysis and verification activities to strengthen compliance and reporting processes.

Who Should Apply

We are looking for students who:

• Have an interest in finance operations, business processes, retail operations, compliance, or data analysis.

• Are detail-oriented and comfortable working with information, documents, and data.

• Have good communication skills and are willing to coordinate with different stakeholders.

• Are curious, proactive, and willing to ask questions to understand how processes work.

• Are able to organize findings clearly using Excel, PowerPoint, or simple reporting formats.

• Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related academic backgrounds are preferred, but students from other backgrounds with strong interest are also welcome.
