As part of the division FP&A team, the role also supports MBR and QBR consolidation, cross-functional collaboration with CSD leaders, and preparation of Group and Corporate deliverables. • Review CapEx actuals and forecasts, ensure accounting compliance, and support spend approvals and financial guidance
  • Coordinate with Accounting & Finance centers of excellence to manage capital and operating expenditures
  • Lead key elements of MBR/QBR financial consolidation, including revenue and Organic Growth splits between Core and CDx, OpEx bridge support, and metric validation
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and decision support on topics such as standard margins, OpEx drivers, PV2 by geography, and cost center hierarchy changes
  • Use systems, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, forecasting, and finance process efficiency

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or analytical roles
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial systems and large data sets
  • Experience with forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience with tools such as Hyperion, HFM, PLN, SAP, Power BI, or similar systems preferred
  • Interest in automation, AI, and the future of finance preferred

Success Profile

  • Strong business partner with sound financial judgment
  • Able to translate data into clear insights and actions
  • Comfortable balancing recurring deliverables with ad hoc strategic support

  • Aligned with Thermo Fisher Scientific’s 4I Values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement
