Xylem is hiring Industrial Service Technicians across multiple experience levels to support water and wastewater treatment operations at our sites located in Bartow, Mulberry, Lakeland, Riverview, and Plant City, Florida.

What Your Day Will Look Like as an Industrial Service Technician:
The Industrial Service Technician will be responsible for the on-site operation, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of water and wastewater treatment equipment. Responsibilities will vary based on experience level, with opportunities to grow into more advanced technical and leadership responsibilities. Equipment-specific training will be provided, and previous experience working in an industrial environment is encouraged.
Operate, service, maintain, and troubleshoot water and wastewater treatment equipment.
Perform routine inspections and identify equipment, process, and safety concerns.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Provide technical support and guidance to less-experienced technicians as experience allows.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a strong customer-focused approach.

Position Requirements for Industrial Service Technicians:
High school diploma or equivalent
1–5+ years of relevant technical experience in industrial, commercial, municipal, water/wastewater, electrical, mechanical, or similar environments
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a customer-facing environment
Ability to identify and address potential safety concerns
Experience with Microsoft Office and smart devices preferred
Ability to pass a background check, MVR review, and drug screen
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
The starting pay for this position is $25.50 per hour, with final compensation determined based on several factors, including the level of technician you are hired in at, skills, relevant experience, and work location.
