We are recruiting for Field Service Fitters living in Alice Springs or willing to relocate to start their new career with Hastings Deering! Relocation packages provided.

Due to continued growth, our Hastings Deering Alice Springs team have several new vacancies available for motivated and trade qualified Diesel Fitters to join our Field Service Team and service anywhere from Uluru to Tennant Creek!

If you are looking for variety and autonomy in you next role, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

These roles are on a Monday to Friday roster with overtime up for grabs if desired. With a family friendly roster, you will be home each night! These are full-time, permanent positions or open to secondments for current employees.

• Repair, maintain and service key CAT machinery

• Perform diagnostic assessments on mining and general construction equipment

• Plan, organise and schedule field service requirements

About You

A successful teammate will have experience in: 

• Relevant Trade qualifications and demonstrated service and repair experience on heavy machinery

• Experience on Caterpillar Diagnostic Systems or similar

• Proven ability to maintain a high level of workplace health and safety

• A customer driven focus and commitment to continuous improvement

• Excellent time management skills and a strong commitment to quality control
