For our Gas Team in the Benelux (work area central Netherlands), we are looking for a:

Field Service Engineer - Gas (m/f)

(Fulltime | 40 hours)

In the role of Field Service Engineer, you maintain a strong overview of complex gas engine systems and their associated mechanical, control, and automation components. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, you play a key role in ensuring that our gas engines and gensets achieve and maintain optimal performance. This requires a solid understanding of gas engine operation, combustion, and control systems, as well as the ability to identify practical and effective solutions within defined technical boundaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and ensure the performance, reliability, and integrity of gas engines, generator sets, and related systems; perform preventive and corrective maintenance on both mechanical engine components and control systems

  • Diagnose and resolve system failures of a mechanical, electronic, or control-related nature, and document findings and solutions in clear service reports

  • Inspect the material condition of engines, auxiliary systems, and equipment, and verify engineering solutions to address wear, aging, or obsolescence issues

  • Perform accurate fault diagnosis and service activities using advanced diagnostic tools and engine monitoring systems

Your Competences:

  • Completed degree (min. MBO3-4) in a technical direction, preferably engine related;

  • At least 2-5 years of work experience, preferably in a comparable environment (Knowledge of gas engines, gensets or electrical system of gensets)

  • Technical knowledge and experience in the field of control and automation systems

  • Ability to work with computers, electronic control systems and measuring equipment;

  • Good reporting skills in English language;

  • Customer-friendly and solution-oriented, a team player, the ability to work independently, a professional appearance, communicative and correct.

  • Function Group: F-G | Salary bandwidth: €3500 - €4500 gross per month;
