- Communicate service deficiencies and corrective-action needs professionally and promptly.
- Coordinate visit timing when needed to align with contractor service schedules.
- Escalate urgent client, safety, quality, or operational concerns quickly.
- Identify potential facility needs, service improvements, and opportunities for additional support.
- Follow assigned routes, priorities, systems, and reporting expectations while adapting appropriately when field conditions change.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Some college coursework strongly preferred; Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Strong reading comprehension and ability to understand service agreements, scopes of work, client requirements, and written operating procedures.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, accurate, professional inspection reports and follow-up notes.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel throughout South Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.
- Availability to work approximately 20–25 hours per week, generally capped at 29 hours without prior approval.
- Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to identify service-quality deficiencies.
- Mature judgment, common sense, and practical problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision while collaborating effectively with clients, Independent Contractors, and internal team members.
- Comfortable using a smartphone, mobile apps, email, photos, Microsoft Office, and basic reporting systems.
- Prior experience in commercial facilities, janitorial services, inspections, quality assurance, property operations, hospitality, logistics, or another field-service environment is preferred.
