Your Impact 

As a Fashion Merchandising Intern, you will support the Merchandising Team in driving the growth of the Fashion business across CHANEL Middle East boutiques. Working across business planning and product merchandising, you will help transform sales, stock and market insights into meaningful actions that support the performance of our collections. 

This is a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience of how strategic planning, product expertise and operational excellence come together in a fast-paced, multi-market luxury environment. 

Your Main Responsibilities 

Business Planning Support 

• Update weekly business dashboards and reports to support agile decision-making. 

• Contribute to weekly and monthly business reporting for leadership and cross-functional Fashion teams. 

• Support Open-to-Buy calculations, sales forecasts and commercial budget updates across retail and wholesale partners. 

• Build and refine tools that strengthen business follow-up and operational efficiency. 

• Prepare ad-hoc presentations for the Merchandising Team. 

• Support stock diversions and reallocations across the market and region. 

• Participate in Boutique Monthly Business Reviews, helping to assess performance and monitor action plans informed by commercial needs, product performance and market insights. 

Product Merchandising  

• Analyse product performance through quantitative data and qualitative boutique feedback. 

• Support the development and implementation of category strategies aligned with regional business objectives. 

• Identify opportunities for slow-moving products and collaborate with Visual Merchandising and Style teams on initiatives to strengthen visibility, storytelling and sell-through. 

• Contribute to pre-buy analysis, collection assortment preparation and post-buying reviews for Middle East boutiques. 

• Support monthly replenishment analysis for Eyewear and Fashion & Beauty, helping identify stock opportunities and minimise missed sales. 

Collection & Stock Optimisation 

• Monitor collection deliveries and provide boutiques and Visual Merchandising teams with reports on incoming, in-transit and received stock to support launch readiness. 

• Follow collection performance throughout the season and contribute to recommendations where adjustments may be needed. 

• Support stock action plans, collection rebalancing and transfer requests to optimise availability, sell-through and allocation across the network. 

• Work closely with boutique teams, the Stock community, and Europe and Worldwide teams to support the timely execution of stock movements and best practices. 

• Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify relevant commercial, product and client trends.

What You Can Bring 

• A strong interest in Fashion, luxury retail, merchandising and business analysis. 

• Analytical and numerical confidence, combined with excellent attention to detail. 

• Strong Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI would be an advantage. 

• A proactive, organised and adaptable approach to managing multiple priorities. 

• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. 

• Curiosity about product, client and market trends. 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field. 

• Previous internship or initial experience in merchandising, business analysis or a related area is an advantage, ideally within Fashion or luxury. 

• Fluency in English is essential; French is a plus. 

• Based in Dubai and available for a full-time, six-month internship
