We have an exciting opportunity for a Facility and EHS Coordinator to support the day-to-day operation, safety, and maintenance of our Santa Clarita facility. This role combines Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) coordination with facility maintenance support, helping ensure a safe, compliant, and well-maintained work environment.

The Facility and EHS Coordinator will administer EHS policies and procedures onsite to help prevent injuries and illnesses and maintain compliance with applicable Cal/OSHA requirements. The role will also partner closely with the Facilities Lead to coordinate daily facility maintenance activities, perform preventative maintenance, support contractors and vendors, and provide backup coverage for the Facilities Lead

Salary Range: $23.13 - 30.77 per hour

Your Challenge:

Environmental, Health & Safety

  • Administer and support EHS policies, procedures, and programs at the facility.

  • Conduct routine safety inspections and follow up on identified hazards and corrective actions.

  • Lead or coordinate Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCAs) related to EHS incidents and near misses.

  • Support continuous improvement of the site’s EHS framework and safety culture.

  • Coordinate and facilitate safety committee meetings and track follow-up actions.

  • Coordinate and participate in emergency preparedness activities, including fire and earthquake drills.

  • Perform and support Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), risk assessments, and other hazard assessments.

  • Support Management of Change (MOC) activities and other safety-related processes.

  • Maintain appropriate EHS records, documentation, and inspection reports.

  • Support compliance with California OSHA (Cal/OSHA) requirements and applicable company EHS standards.

  • Partner with employees and leadership to identify opportunities to improve workplace safety and prevent injuries and illnesses.

Facility Maintenance & Operations

  • Coordinate with the Facilities Lead to address daily facility maintenance needs and priorities.

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks throughout the facility.

  • Support basic building, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and general facility maintenance activities as needed.

  • Perform general “handyman” duties, including furniture moves, minor repairs, painting, light construction, and facility cleanup.

  • Operate hand and power tools and site equipment as required.

  • Assist with coordination and support of outside contractors and service vendors.

  • Help maintain facility-related documentation, records, diagrams, and maintenance logs.

  • Support facility activities such as meeting/conference setup, waste and recycling activities, and employee break-area supplies.

  • Assist with facility projects and other maintenance activities requiring additional support.

  • Provide backup coverage for the Facilities Lead when needed.

  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Your Expertise:

  • 2–3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a related field.

  • Experience or working knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and practices.

  • Knowledge of safety systems and processes, including:

    • Job Safety Analysis (JSA)

    • Risk Assessments

    • Management of Change (MOC)

    • Incident investigation and corrective actions

  • Prior experience working with or supporting Cal/OSHA compliance preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or general facility systems.

  • Experience working with contractors, vendors, or service providers is a plus.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple facility and EHS activities in a fast-paced environment.

  • High initiative and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving safety and facility issues.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees, leadership, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and working in various facility areas.
