About this Facilities Engineering Supervisor role at Continental Resources
Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading the Permian facilities team to execute on infrastructure (water, oil, gas, and electrical) and production facilities projects to support exploration and development. The individual should possess the experience and skills listed to provide vision, leadership, and engineering support to the facilities team and other multi-disciplinary groups within the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise facilities engineering staff and provide technical oversight and mentorship.
- Collaborate with multiple disciplines throughout the company to execute on Facilities projects.
- Prepare area facilities capital budget and reconcile spend against budget.
- Assess the economic viability of potential projects and work through management approvals.
- Coordinate with other departments to identify and mitigate potential disruptions to execution of projects (ROW, rig and stimulation schedule changes, regulatory, etc.).
- Responsible for planning and execution of 5-year infrastructure development plans for basin.
- Communicate with counterparts at peer companies who operate in similar areas.
- Collaborate with area superintendents to assess future rig and personnel resources to ensure development schedule can be executed.
- Assess water transportation and injection forecasts to develop and coordinate facility projects to meet future development needs.
- Work with the Supply Chain department to secure critical materials and resources at competitive pricing and terms.
- Identify training and development opportunities for technical staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Experience with Siteview, Pipesim (or equivalent hydraulic software), Promax (or equivalent process software), and Cygnet

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline from an accredited University.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of recent, related experience
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous leadership, project management, or supervisory experience.
- Professional Engineer License is beneficial.
- Prior experience supporting international operations.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
