The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, comfortable working from drawings and measurements, and takes pride in producing clean, precise finished work. • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, elevations, measurements, and installation instructions.
  • Perform accurate layouts to ensure panels are properly aligned, level, and evenly spaced.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other installation equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare surfaces and installation areas as needed prior to installation.
  • Make field adjustments and modifications to ensure proper fit and finished appearance.
  • Inspect completed installations to ensure panels are straight, securely attached, properly fitted, and free of wrinkles, damage, or visible defects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all project safety requirements and company procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other installers, foremen, general contractors, and project personnel.
  • Protect finished surfaces and surrounding areas during installation.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in specialty installation, construction, fabrication, or a related trade.
  • Fabric panel, acoustic panel, upholstery, or architectural wall system experience is a plus.
  • Strong ability to measure accurately and work with precision.
  • Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, or detailed installation instructions.
  • Comfortable using common hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work from measurements and complete layouts accurately.
  • Comfortable working from ladders and lifts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver installation materials as required.
