Key Responsibilities

Air Export Operations

• Coordinate the booking of shipments with air carriers for export, ensuring optimal routing and cost-effectiveness

• Prepare and process all necessary export documentation, including air waybills, invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin

• Ensure that shipments comply with international trade regulations and customer requirements

• Monitor the status of export shipments, provide updates to clients, and resolve any issues that may arise

Customer Service and Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their air export shipments

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner

• Develop and maintatin strong relationships with clients, airlines, and customs authorities, and third-party vendors

Cost Management and optimization

• Adhere to rates from Air procurment team on air carriers, and other service providers to achieve the best possible pricing

• Review and approve freight invoices, ensuring charges align with agreed-upon rates and services rendered.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and corporate policies

• Maintatin accurate records of all transactions, following company and regulatory guidelines for documentation retention

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in airfreight mgmt. system and tools

• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs processes, and shipping documentation

• Understanding of incoterms, tariff classifications, and HS CODES

• Familiarity with handling DG and compliance requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Analytical and problem-Solving skills
• CargoWise One skills preferred

Fluent English and German required
