About this Expeditor - EPC Projects (Saudi Arabia) role at Eram Talent
Eram Talent, a leading talent acquisition company in the Oil & Energy sector, is seeking an experienced Expeditor. The Expeditor is responsible for ensuring the timely procurement, manufacturing, inspection, documentation, and delivery of equipment and materials required for EPC projects. The role involves close coordination with suppliers, procurement, engineering, QA/QC, logistics, and project management teams to ensure project schedules are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Expedite purchase orders from placement through final delivery.
- Monitor supplier progress against approved manufacturing and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely submission of engineering documents, drawings, material certificates, and inspection reports.
- Identify potential delays and proactively implement recovery plans.
- Liaise with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, Inspection, Logistics, and Construction teams to resolve issues affecting delivery schedules.
- Conduct supplier follow-up meetings, progress reviews, and expediting visits when required.
- Monitor manufacturing progress and ensure compliance with project milestones.
- Coordinate third-party inspections and ensure inspection release is achieved on schedule.
- Track shipment readiness and coordinate with logistics for timely dispatch.
- Maintain expediting reports, vendor status reports, and procurement dashboards.
- Escalate critical issues to Procurement Manager and Project Management with recommendations for corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual obligations, and company procedures.
- Support project close-out activities, including final documentation and material reconciliation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an Expeditor in EPC projects.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Offshore, or Industrial Construction projects is preferred.
- Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle, manufacturing processes, vendor management, and logistics.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards applicable to EPC projects.
