About the Job:
As an Exercise Physiologist in our Cardiopulmonary Rehab department, you will play a vital role in helping patients safely regain strength and improve cardiovascular and pulmonary health through personalized exercise programs and education.
What You’ll Do:
- - Administer 6-Minute Walk Tests and Timed Get Up and Go assessments.
- - Develop and lead individualized and group exercise sessions.
- - Create home exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
- - Educate patients on telemetry monitoring, pulse taking, and cardiac risk reduction.
- - Schedule new patients and maintain timely documentation.
- - Respond to emergency situations within scope of practice.
- - Deliver community education programs and stay current with evidence-based practices.
Who You Are:
- - Degree in Exercise Science.
- - Current BCLS certification.
- - Basic knowledge of nutrition, cardiac and pulmonary anatomy.
- - Skilled in assessing BP, HR, and O2 saturation.
- - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- - Strong communicator with the ability to multitask and prioritize patient care.
