Summary of Objective:

The Executive Director, End-to-End Planning is responsible for building, leading, and continuously improving the planning function across the full PCI supply chain. This role will drive maturity in demand planning, capacity modeling, material requirements planning, production planning, and scheduling. The role partners with segment leadership, manufacturing sites, finance, procurement, and quality, through Integrated Business Planning across short, mid, and long term planning horizons to deliver improvements in customer service, capacity utilization, inventory performance, forecast reliability, and business decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead the design and execution of an enterprise end-to-end planning strategy that connects demand, capacity, inventory, and supply.
  • Own and mature the Integrated Business Planning process, ensuring clear governance, decision rights, escalation paths, and executive-level visibility.
  • Develop and deploy processes, tools, and KPIs across segments and sites to drive purposeful standardization.
  • Partner with commercial and business development teams to translate customer forecasts, purchase orders, and pipeline assumptions into an unconstrained demand plan.
  • Lead capacity planning to identify constraints, surface trade-off decisions, and align capacity utilization with revenue expectations and customer commitments.
  • Drive planning data discipline, including forecast accuracy, demand signal quality, master data integrity, lead times, planning parameters, and planning system utilization.
  • Serve as a business partner to operations, finance, commercial, procurement, IT, quality, and segment leadership to enable faster, data-driven decisions.
  • Provide leadership and subject-matter expertise for planning teams supporting clinical, commercial, and D&M.
  • Build organizational capability by developing planning talent, clarifying roles and responsibilities, coaching planning leaders, and creating a strong planning community across the network.
  • Support supply chain transformation initiatives, ERP / planning system improvements, analytics development, and future-state planning operating model design.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, business, engineering, finance, or a related field.
  • 10 or more years of progressive supply chain experience in life sciences across a broad spectrum of planning disciplines.
  • 5 or more years of people leadership experience, including leading managers or cross-functional planning teams.
  • 5 or more years of experience working with or working for CDMOs.
  • Strong understanding of ERP and Advanced Planning Systems
  • Experience operating in a complex, multi-site, matrixed environment with competing priorities and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to translate complex planning issues into clear business decisions, risks, and trade-offs.
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and drive accountability across commercial, operations, finance, procurement, quality, IT, and site teams.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or business transformation experience.
  • College Level Mathematical Skills
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.    
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
  • High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.
  • High Standard of Report Writing
