About you and this role
Dow's Office of the CEO is seeking an Executive Digital Engagement Manager! This position can be located in Midland, MI or at one of our major Gulf Coast locations.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape, amplify and protect the digital presence of Dow's CEO across external platforms and channels. As the Executive Digital Engagement Manager, you will lead the strategy, execution, and measurement of the CEO's external digital presence and engagement ecosystem. This includes social media, executive thought leadership platforms, search visibility, digital reputation, owned and earned content amplification, and emerging digital engagement opportunities. Working across Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Investor Relations, and Business teams, you will develop integrated digital engagement strategies that advance Dow's business priorities, elevate the CEO's voice, and strengthen the Company's reputation among key stakeholders.
You will serve as an advisor, helping identify opportunities to engage in relevant conversations, influence critical audiences, and maximize the impact of executive communications through data-driven insights and strategic external engagement.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a comprehensive CEO digital engagement strategy that advances Dow's business objectives, strengthens corporate reputation, and supports key stakeholder priorities.
- Lead the strategic management of the CEO's external digital presence across social platforms, thought leadership channels, executive content, search results, and other digital touchpoints.
- Develop audience-driven content and engagement strategies that enhance the CEO's visibility with customers, investors, policymakers, employees, media, industry influencers, and future talent.
- Partner with Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Investor Relations, and Business Leaders to identify and amplify stories that support Dow's strategy and brand.
- Curate, create, and manage a steady pipeline of executive content, including LinkedIn posts, articles, editorials, blogs, videos, and other digital assets.
- Develop and execute promotion strategies for executive thought leadership.
- Identify and recommend real-time engagement opportunities aligned with Dow's priorities, industry trends, market developments, and stakeholder conversations.
- Build and maintain a strategic engagement framework for influencers, customers, policymakers, industry leaders, media, NGOs, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee executive digital reputation management, including social listening, sentiment analysis, search visibility, online profile optimization, and risk monitoring.
- Manage and enhance the CEO's broader online presence, including executive profiles, search engine optimization (SEO), knowledge panels, Wikipedia presence, and other digital identity platforms.
- Monitor emerging digital channels, technologies, and engagement trends to identify opportunities for innovation and increased impact.
- Benchmark peer CEOs, industry leaders, and best-in-class executive communicators to continuously improve Dow's executive digital engagement strategy.
- Analyze engagement performance, stakeholder reach, reputation impact, and business outcomes to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI.
- Develop executive dashboards and reporting that connect digital engagement activities to reputation, influence, stakeholder engagement, and broader business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Affairs, Digital Media or a related field, or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in executive communications, corporate communications, digital communications, public affairs, reputation management, or related fields.
- A minimum requirement for this U.S.-based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience developing executive thought leadership, digital engagement, or corporate reputation strategies.
- Experience translating business priorities into compelling executive narratives that engage external stakeholders.
Skills
- Content Development: Exceptional storytelling and content development skills across digital channels and executive communications platforms.
- Digital Communications: Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital analytics, social listening, SEO, and online reputation management.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and effectively influence across cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging insights and data to drive strategy and measure impact.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to stay ahead of digital trends, emerging platforms, and evolving audience behaviors.
