  • Create process documentation, system configuration guides, and best-practice resources that enable consistent evaluation experiences and support implementation handoffs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience in accounting or finance systems).

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial systems, ERP implementation, or public sector finance advisory.

  • Strong understanding of government accounting principles, fund accounting, GASB standards, budgeting, procurement, and financial reporting requirements.

  • Ability to communicate accounting and system concepts clearly to finance teams, IT staff, and executive leadership.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.

  • Comfortable with cross-functional collaboration and building credibility with customers and internal teams.

  • Ability to travel up to 35%.

  • Experience working directly with local government finance operations—cities, counties, or public sector finance organizations.

  • Background as a CPA, accounting professional, or government auditor.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based ERP or financial management systems in a technical or functional capacity.

  • Familiarity with government procurement, budget development, or financial compliance processes.
