Essential Functions
Waste management. Cardboard Recycling. Operate a Forklift to move materials or products. Operate a floor sweeper with a ride on sweeper. Provide support to Production with machine fluids, oil spill cleanup, etc. Work with leadership to coach and enforce E&S policies and procedures to the work floor. Able to adapt to a flexible, fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to perform as a First-Responder for injuries or other urgent situations. Be able to back up the Safety department for minor calls when necessary.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Understanding of manufacturing environment and risks present. Comprehension of Health & Safety OSHA rules applicable to manufacturing. Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills. Ability to use Microsoft Office Products including: Outlook; Word; Power Point; etc. Must be organized. Must have strong computer and presentation skills. Team player. Detail-oriented. Must be able to articulate coaching regarding Environmental procedures. Must be able to respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary. Must be able to comply with swing-shift hours if required.
Education and Experience
Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience required. OSHA 10 Hour & 30 Hour Certification preferred RCRA experience preferred. HAZMAT experience preferred. Water treatment experience preferred.
Work Environment
Manufacturing plant environment with extreme fluctuation in temperature. Dusty and noisy environment. Exposure to odors and fumes.
