Overview:

Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a F/T Evening Floor Technician for our Environmental Services Dept.

The Floor Technician is responsible for maintenance of floors. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, various equipment and cleaning applications to include: mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping and polishing. Cross trained to Environmental Services Technician I competencies in order to provide cleaning duties when necessary.

Education

• HS Diploma or Equivalent (Required) 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience may be accepted in lieu of HS education.

Certification/Licensure

• No specific certification or licensure requirements

Experience

• Up to one year environment services experience - Required
• Experience maintaining floors in a commercial or healthcare setting - Preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.08 - $26.26 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
