Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Engineer:
- Conduct field-based activities such as site inspections, sample collection, testing, and analysis
- Assist with installing, operating, and maintaining soil and groundwater remediation systems
- Manage and oversee subcontractors in the field
- Assist with project engineering design with Senior Engineer oversight
- Assist with writing technical reports, proposals, and permitting documents
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data
- Input data into template reports
- Ensure safe work practices on all project work.
- Actively develop your own career growth.
What we're looking for:
- BS in Environmental Engineering or equivalent
- EI Certification desired
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
- Familiarity with environmental remediation including soil, soil gas, and groundwater treatment systems
- 1+ years of related experience
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Experience with AutoCAD is a plus
- Excellent technical communication skills; strong attention to detail; field adeptness
- Strong safety record and understanding of safe work practices
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify, collect, organize, and document information and data.
- Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
- 50-75% fieldwork/travel to conduct field sampling activities and support system startups and trouble-shooting project remediation sites.
