About this Enterprise Account Executive - Commercial role at Facilities Management Express
FMX is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join our commercial sales team and grow our customer base across the United States. In this role, you'll be responsible for generating new business, building and managing your own pipeline, and leading opportunities from initial outreach through close. You'll work closely with an SDR, Marketing, and Sales Engineering, but you'll be responsible for driving your territory, managing the sales process, and winning new enterprise customers.
The ideal candidate has experience selling into complex organizations with multiple stakeholders and a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota. You should be comfortable managing deals with annual contract values of $40K–$50K and above and have experience selling into one or more of our core markets, including arenas and sports teams, behavioral health, senior living, and large nonprofit organizations.
Responsibilities:
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will:
- Own and manage a strategic target list of 300+ commercial accounts, actively hunting and executing outbound strategies to build a robust Book of Business.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual quota targets for both net-new business and strategic expansion within these key accounts, focusing on deal sizes of $40k-$50K+ in revenue.
- Build relationships with potential clients within our ICP (arenas, healthcare, non-profits); deeply analyze their operational challenges and quickly decipher if and how FMX can solve them.
- Progress potential clients through the buyer’s journey and FMX sales funnel by leading high-impact platform demonstrations, educating key decision-makers, and negotiating complex contracts.
- Collaborate closely with your assigned SDR regarding prospect notes, account research, and pre-meeting strategy, while maintaining your own proactive prospecting cadence.
- Maintain clean data within Salesforce, Gong, and the FMX tech stack to ensure immaculate pipeline tracking, accurate forecasting, and clear opportunity management.
- Participate actively in strategic weekly sales meetings, training sessions, and continuous self-improvement to help the team achieve company goals.
Requirements
Experience & Qualities:
- 5+ years of experience selling into commercial enterprise accounts, with specific experience navigating complex sales within Arenas & Sports Teams, Behavioral Health, Senior Assisted Living, or large Non-Profits.
- Experience working in a remote sales environment
- Demonstrated ability to work with complex sales cycles
- Exceptional attention to detail, task management, and organizational skills
- Experience using Salesforce (or a similar CRM) and/or Sales Engagement Platforms
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- The ability to build relationships quickly with anyone, particularly over the phone
- Capability to learn rapidly and be highly coachable
- Self-motivation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment

The hiring process for this role:

- Phone screen with PeopleOps: A 30-minute conversation to review your background and experiences, discuss the culture at FMX, and ensure that you understand the general expectations for the role. Also, a great time for you to ask questions about compensation, benefits, etc.
- Hiring manager conversation: A 60-minute conversation with the Senior VP of Sales and/or a Sales Manager. Be prepared to discuss your background as well as what you’re looking for in your next role and what direction you see your career path taking. Also, this is a great time for you to ask questions about the expectations for this role, team culture, etc.
- Final Panel Interview: A 90-minute panel interview with key teammates that you'll be working with on a daily basis. During this time, you will also be asked to give a 15-20 minute presentation. More details will be provided at this stage of the interview process.
- Offer & Onboarding: Candidates who receive an offer will be required to complete a background check prior to onboarding. New hires are also expected to work onsite at our Columbus, OH office during their first week to complete onboarding and connect with the team in person.

Compensation:
- This position offers a base salary and is also eligible for an uncapped commission plan. OTE will be discussed in the initial phone interview with the recruiter.
