About this Enterprise Account Executive role at Assembled

Assembled · Onsite · San Francisco, CA

About Assembled

Assembled helps companies scale great customer support. As consumers, we’ve all been there. You need help, you’re stuck on hold or going in circles with an AI, and your problem still isn’t solved.

Behind great support is a complex operational problem: thousands of people and AI agents working across teams, time zones, and products as new problems emerge. Assembled gives support leaders the tools to manage that complexity, from AI agents that resolve customer issues to software that forecasts demand, builds schedules, and makes intraday adjustments.

More than 400 companies, including DoorDash, Salesforce, Stripe, and Sephora, trust Assembled. We've raised $71M from NEA, Emergence Capital, Stripe, and Basis Set Ventures and have offices in San Francisco, New York, and London.

The role and opportunity

The market is moving our way. The legacy workforce management vendors that dominate the Fortune 500 have moved under private equity ownership. Large enterprises running those systems are taking a hard look at what comes next, and many of them are deciding how AI fits into their support operation at the same time. That creates an opening for Assembled, and an opportunity for an enterprise seller to win enterprise accounts and build a significant book of business.

To capture that opportunity, we are hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to grow Assembled inside the Fortune 500 across the western United States. You will be one of our first enterprise sellers and you will own a large territory with no ceiling on what it can become.

Your book will include two kinds of accounts. Some are existing customers with plenty of room to expand across business units, regions and products. Others are large companies locked into incumbent contracts, where winning means building relationships now and being the obvious choice when the renewal comes up in 12 or 24 months. You will need the patience for the second kind and the urgency for the first.

We want someone who runs a territory like a CEO runs a business. You decide where to spend your time, build your own pipeline, bring in the right people from our team at the right moment, and forecast with accuracy. You will work closely with our founders and leadership and help shape how Assembled sells to the largest companies in the world.

What you'll do

  • Own a territory of Fortune 500 and large enterprise accounts across the western U.S., including new logos and existing customers

  • Build pipeline from scratch through outbound, executive relationships, partners and your own network

  • Map and multithread complex organizations, from VPs of Customer Support and Workforce Management up to the COO, CFO and CIO

  • Run full sales cycles, including discovery, business cases, security review, legal, procurement and multi-year negotiations

  • Track incumbent contract dates across your territory and build multi-quarter plans to win accounts at renewal

  • Grow existing customers by expanding into new teams, geographies, BPO partners and AI use cases

  • Sell our full platform, which combines seat-based pricing for workforce management and AI Copilot with usage-based pricing for AI Agents, and help customers forecast and budget as their AI usage grows

  • Forecast your business accurately and run account plans for your largest opportunities

  • Feed what you learn back into our enterprise playbook, product roadmap and messaging

About you

  • 8+ years of closing experience in enterprise software, with a consistent record of beating quota

  • A history of winning and growing six- and seven-figure deals with Fortune 500 companies

  • Experience selling workforce management, contact center or CX technology is a strong plus. We will also look closely at people who have sold other operations software to the Fortune 500, or any technology to customer-facing teams such as support, sales or service. Experience selling a consumption-based product is also a plus

  • You know how large companies buy. You have navigated annual budget cycles, procurement, security reviews and long legal redlines, and you know how to keep a deal moving through all of it

  • You build your own pipeline and do not wait for inbound. An existing network of executives in support, CX or operations is a real advantage

  • You are entrepreneurial and resourceful, and you like the idea of building an enterprise motion at a company where your work shapes the process

  • You write and speak clearly and can hold your own with a COO or a CFO

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work on-site in our San Francisco office five days per week. Regular travel to customer sites is expected

Our U.S. benefits

  • Generous medical, dental, and vision benefits

  • Flexible time off

  • Monthly credits to spend on each: wellness, Assembled customers, commuting, and AI tools

  • Paid parental leave

  • A meal plan to support our in-office working model: catered lunches everyday (M-F), snacks, and beverages in our SF & NY offices

  • 401(k) plan enrollment

The on-target earnings range for this role is $300,000 to $350,000, with a 50/50 split between base salary and variable compensation. Base salary ranges from $150,000 to $175,000. Commission is uncapped, with accelerators above quota. The role also includes a meaningful equity grant. Final compensation depends on experience, location and qualifications.

We know great candidates don’t always meet every requirement listed in a job description. If the role excites you and you believe you can make an impact at Assembled, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and are committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone feels like they belong and has the opportunity to do their best work. We look forward to hearing from you!
