Do you want to work hands-on with the equipment that makes Axis products possible — and have a say in how it gets better? We are looking for an Engineering Technician to join the Production Systems High Volume team, part of our Manufacturing organization. This is a permanent, full-time position based on site at our headquarters in Lund, Sweden. 

Who is your future team? 

In the PSHV team, we are 10 engineering technicians that build, deliver, and support high volume production machines for Axis' production sites. The team is part of Global Manufacturing and is 1st line support for Axis' production sites and collaborates with many different stakeholders - development projects, suppliers, and production sites.  

Travelling is a part of the job, as we are 1st line of support at the AXIS production sites. 

What you'll do here as an Engineering Technician 

• You will build, verify and prepare machines to be delivered to the AXIS productions sites 

• You will participate in product development projects 

• You will plan and organize the daily work 

• You will interact and communicate with different stakeholders 

• You will coordinate delivery of fixtures to subcontractors 

• You will be 1st line of support to AXIS production sites 

• You will participate and drive continuous improvement work

If you are curious, innovative, and enjoy communicating with and influencing others, with an emphasis on production engineering, then we believe this is the place for you. 

What we’re looking for:

• A technical background and a strong interest in both hands-on technical work and business development.
• A degree in Engineering (BSc or MSc), ideally in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fluency in English and Swedish.

Physical demands and travel: The role includes travel of approximately 20 days per year, mainly to our contract manufacturers around the world.
