• Execute chemical analysis and laboratory testing independently in accordance with established procedures, ensuring result accuracy through data verification, reasonableness checks, and professional chemical judgment.
• Interpret analytical data and trends using chemical principles, perform initial technical analysis and root cause investigation for abnormal results, and support abnormal data organization and reporting.
• Act as the responsible laboratory engineer, ensuring all operations comply with required standards and exercising independent technical judgment during abnormal or critical situations.
• Establish, manage, and continuously improve laboratory operations, including equipment setup, test methods, SOPs, and work instructions (WI), based on analytical findings and operational needs.
• Apply chemical knowledge to improve processes, experimental conditions, and test methodologies, adjusting programs or parameters to enhance data quality, efficiency, and robustness.
• Provide technical judgment on chemical properties, material compatibility, and safety risks, including hazard identification, SDS review, and regulatory compliance.
• Train, mentor, and technically guide laboratory staff, ensuring safe practices, procedural adherence, and capability development.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with PDE, APTD, SQM, QE, and related teams to support issue resolution, continuous improvement, and laboratory integration into broader quality and engineering activities.
• AI Assisted Chemical data associate process analysis.
