Job Description
As Industrialization Engineer you will report to Industrialization Manager
Your Responsibilities:
- With direction in the form of SAFe stories, the Industrial Design Organization supports the introduction of new products. This support comes through Design for projects and the Manufacturing Design Specification. The support also comes from Architects, Product Owners, or SME Project Engineers. They work following the RA Common Product Development (CPD) processes.
- Work with Engineering Design and Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure optimum product and process design for manufacturability for a New Product Introduction
- Support development engineering to determine product cost
- Support development of manufacturing specification and validate against Digital twins
- Support development of the associated documentation and estimate manufacturing cost
- Work on issues of small to medium scope where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree or education
- 2 years' experience in engineering design or manufacturing
- Understand concepts of New Product Introduction process
- Have worked with Project Management teams
- Knowledge of Design for Assembly, Cost and Automation
- Understanding of discrete manufacturing assembly practices
- Support Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
- Transactions in an Enterprise Resource Planning system SAP
- Good written and verbal communications in English
