About the Role
This position is to support the related language application development, including system design, programming, unit testing, system & integration testing and UAT support under the supervision of Specialist/Senior Specialist.Job Description:
- Understand users’ requirements and function specification (10%);
- Understand and prepare technical specification(20%);
- Develop software applications(40%);
- Prepare test case, conduct the unit test and system test(30%).
- Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science or IT related discipline
- 1+ years experience in related language or platform: Cloud platforms, Linux/Windows/Unix platforms, Web/mobile applications
- 1+ yrs database and SQL experience (DB2 and Oracle etc)
- Knowledge of Software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Good written and reading skill in English
- Self motivator and quick learner
- Problem solving skills
- Has experience on insurance is preferable
